I was rescued from the local pound, where I'd been left by my family. I'm about a year and a half old, and I'm very sweet. I have wonderful, medium-length fur and I enjoy being brushed. I do okay with other cats, so long as they are not too hyper. Because I am so timid, I'm fearful of small ch...
Enjoy a great meal and support Hanover Humane at the same time!
On May 16, 17,and 18, join us at the Ruby Tuesday's Restaurant in Ashland (805 England Street) for our "GiveBack" Event.
The Lee-Davis NAHS and Photography Department would like to announce its Third Annual Paws for a Cause photography fundraiser. All proceeds will benefit the Hanover Humane Society.
Several photo shoot will be held around the community so that community members may take their pets to have pictures taken by LDHS photography students. These informal photo shoots will be held at various locations in March and April, with a number of Saturday dates being scheduled at Pole Green Park (shelter by the barn). As with past years, the students expect a wonderful turn-out and hope to be able to capture every jump, shake, and tail wag.
Images will be on display and available for purchase at an exhibition and silent auction event on May 12th, 2012 at Lee Davis High School in Mechanicsville, VA. Other items donated by local community members and businesses will be up for auction as well. Representatives with the Hanover Humane Society will be onsite to provide literature on the Adoptions, Boarding, Grooming, and Behavioral Training services offered by the group. Come out to support these talented students and help them raise money for the Hanover Humane Society!
